What's the Buzz?
On Saturday, September 25 I spoke at an aesthetic conference, which had 50 physicians in attendance. What is the current buzz in the aesthetic industry? Non-surgical "body sculpting". Advancements in technology are now allowing us to literally change body shapes, without surgery or downtime. These body sculpting procedures are designed for people who are within 25-30 lbs of their ideal body weight, yet have areas of their body that just don't respond well to diet and exercise. These areas include the belly, love-handles, inner and outer thighs, lower back, neck, chin, etc. At AesthetiCare we are very excited to be the first clinic in the country to have the top three devices on the market for treating cellulite, sagging skin and unwanted fat. SmoothShapes, a dual laser treatment for cellulite, has been part of our practice for over 18 months. This is the first truly successful cellulite treatment that we have seen.
We’ve just added Exilis, a tissue tightening and fat melting radio frequency device – you will be hearing a lot about this over the coming months. Exilis allows us to treat any area of the body for excess fat as well as tightening loose skin. We will do a series of four treatments each every one to two weeks. The results are really amazing!
