What is a MediSpa?
The word MedSpa, or Medi-Spa has recently become a popular name for an aesthetic center that is, in many ways, a cross between a traditional day spa and a doctors office. Most MedSpas provide non-surgical aesthetic treatments performed by medical professionals such as physician's assistants, nurse practitioners, registered nurses, medical aestheticians, etc. Many of the treatments provided at a MedSpa require physician supervision and are not available at traditional days spa. This allows MedSpas to offer more aggressive, more effective, and more thorough treatments. Many MedSpas do also include spa services such as facials, waxing, light chemical peels, etc. Most medical spas utilize a variety of lasers and intense pulsed light technology to treat aging and/or damaged skin as well as permanent hair removal. Additional services offered at medical spas may include Botox®, dermal fillers, microdermabrasion, chemical peels, micropigmentation (permanent make-up), LipoDissolve, etc.

How does AesthetiCare differ from the Competition?
AesthetiCare opened for business in 2001 and was one of the first full-service MediSpas in the Kansas City area. AesthetiCare has the most advanced equipment, including 16 state-of-the art lasers, and the most experienced staff in the Midwest. Our sister company, Aesthetic Consulting Group, is a national leader in aesthetic procedure training, consulting and equipment since 1997. AesthetiCare is utilized as a national training facility for virtually all aesthetic treatments and has access to the latest technology before anyone in the area. We are especially proud to provide each client with a complimentary, 1-hour skin analysis and consultation. During this session, we utilize high resolution digital photography and UV photography to analyze your skin. We then strive to educate our clients on how best to improve their skin and to maintain those improvements. AesthetiCare focuses on setting realistic expectations in regards to the outcomes of each treatment, and we never attempt to sell our clients any service or product that will not benefit them. We pledge to provide a level of service not only superior to our competition but one that exceeds our clients expectations.

Who will be performing my procedure?
All of our services are performed by highly skilled and trained personnel. We employee licensed estheticians, registered nurses, and physician assistants. Please refer to the staff section of our website.

Appointments
Although we would make every effort to assist walk-in clients, it is highly recommended that you schedule your appointment in advance to ensure that we can meet your requests for a preferred date, time and therapist. All appointments must be made by calling the clinic during business hours 913-338-5476. Please plan to arrive at least 10 minutes ahead of your first appointment with us to fill out new client in-take forms.

Confirmations
We will make a courtesy call to you at least 24 hours in advance of your appointment as a reminder, but we do ask that you assume the responsibility for remembering your appointments.

Cancellation Policy
If you are unable to keep your appointment time, please contact the clinic as soon as possible to let us know. We do request at least 24 hours advance notice for cancellations and you may be charged a cancellation fee if you are unable to provide proper notice.

Children
Minors are always welcome for treatment when accompanied by a parent or with a prior signed consent form. Childcare services are not provided on site and out of respect for all of our guests, we ask that children do not accompany you to a scheduled appointment.

Gratuities
Although gratuities are not customary for clinical treatments, they are appreciated for our spa services such as facials and waxing. Gratuities may be given at your discretion in appreciation to our staff for providing outstanding services.

Payment Methods
Payment is due for all service when rendered. We accept Cash, Personal Checks, Visa, MasterCard and Discover and Care Credit offered through GE Finance. We do not offer any in-house financing options.

Gift Cards
Give the gift of beauty to that someone special! Gift cards are and available for purchase in any denomination over the phone or at the clinic. All gift card purchases are non-refundable.

Referral Rewards Program
We truly value your business and understand that the highest compliment you can pay us is the referral of your family and friends. When referring someone to our clinic, simply complete our referral form and when the referred client presents this certificate to us, both the referring client and the referred client will receive a $75 credit towards any of our services excluding facials, chemical peels, waxing and teeth whitening. This program is our way of thanking clients for their continued trust and confidence and to recognize the vital role they play in helping our skin care business continue to grow.
