Leg & Facial Veins

The Vein & Laser Institute specializes in larger vericous veins utilizing the new EVLT laser therapy. EVLT is the most effective treatment for varicose veins and is a simple, out-patient procedure performed by a physician. There is virtually no downtime and most cases are covered by insurance.

Smaller leg veins are often called spider veins. Spider veins can be blue, purple, and/or red. Two types of treatments work well for spider veins. The first, schlerotherapy, is a small injection directly into the vessel. The sclerosing solution which is injected into the vein caused the damaged vessel to collapse and disappear. Normally, 2-3 treatments are recommended.

AesthetiCare also utilizes the Sciton 1064nd:yag laser for small leg veins and facial veins. This laser is the most effective on the market, and the results are normally excellent. We normally recommend 2-3 treatments depending on the size and location of the vessels
