How Does Tissue Tightening Work Using SkinTyte?

The laser (the Sciton SkinTyte System) delivers infrared light deep into the dermis. This light causes soft tissue coagulation which leads to remodeling of the collagen within the dermis. Overt time, this remodeled collagen helps to fill in wrinkles and restore elasticity to sagging skin. Our experience with multiple tissue tightening devices, including Thermage, has show us that the Skintype System is the most advanced and effective tissue tightening device we have seen or used.

Are These Treatments Safe? Are they Painful?

For two years we offered Thermage to our clients. We discontinued this procedure due to the high level of pain, high cost of the procedure, and poor results in comparison to what the Thermage company, through their marketing, led clients to believe. What we have learned is that the Sciton SkinTyte offers superior results, much less pain, and a much more affordable price. We believe the Sciton Skintyte to be the most effective tissue tightening device on the market today.

Our technology also uses a 3-stage cooling. It cools the skin, before, during, and after each light pulse, so you feel little discomfort during treatment.

What Should I Expect After Treatment?

You may experience lingering warmth, tightness, or redness in the treated area, which normally fades within a few hours of treatment. Because so much of the skin is unaffected by the light pulses, there is a quick healing process. Generally, you can receive a treatment and go back to work or to other activities without any recovery time. Makeup can be applied directly after your treatment.

A series of treatments at 4-6 week intervals will deliver the best result of smoother, tighter skin in the face, arms, abdomen, and other area.
